Hi there, found your site looking for somewhere to off-load a couple of `Listers`. I appear to own the 13th `carrot top`. Will start on it this winter.Mine appears to be a `funny`.It has another makers-plate over the casting ! Regards Richard

I have a curious item, a bronze plaque: oval, 5 1/5 x 3 1/2" with the following inscription:
W. J. BATES & Co/ Ltd.,
--MAKERS--
[in pre-revolutionary Russian stating that it if "The Representative for Russia of the Technical Office, M.O. Gorovits and I.I. Regirer, Kiev, Kreshchatik No.8" the below again in English]
--DENTON--
MANCHESTER

I've seen on your webpage a similar plaque minus the Russian:
W.J.Bates - Denton, Manchester

Unknown

If interested, I'll be glad to send a digital picture.

Best,

Igor G. Kozak, collector

Kreshchatik, btw, is the main street in Kiev. No.8 should be about near the Independence Square, I imagine.
