Hello, Is there anyone knows where I can get Alan Gibbs contact, who helped an art installation in 2006? He used his 'Merryweather boiler dated 1945 to run a computer. We are hoping to do similar experiment, so if anyone else could help us, please contact us.

I went to Wattlehurst farm today as I do annually, It was a good show with a good turnout of engines. I like to see rare engines like the listers after 'B', up to 'R'. I have a lister B & F, petter M 3HP, L31 hopper, Petter-Mclaren B4. I'd like to show them when I have time, but work still prevails!

I am a young enthusiast and I have three Stationary engines. I have just purchased a Bamford EG3 and wondered if anyone knows how I could date my engine.

I am looking for a "introduction" engine (not too expensive), that I can keep in my garden. I know very little about the engines or the mechanics of them but would really like to own something simple. Any help?
