Just returned from a long weekend and cannot praise the location and hosts enough. Halina and Neil are the perfect hosts.
The caravan is situated in a perfect location with a fantastic aspect with beautiful scenary Would recommend to anyone who wishes to get away from it all.
Elaine certaintly liked the friendly welcome, particularly from the dogs.

What a fantastic caravan! The owners are very friendly, helpful and extremely welcoming. It has to be one of the best weekends away we have had.
The scenery is second to none and is peaceful and tranquil. Its a perfect location for local villages too.

We can't recommend this place highly enough! The caravan is in pristine condition, in a beautiful location and Halina and Neil are great hosts, even providing you with a welcome hamper, which was a lovely touch. We stayed for 3 nights with a very excited 11 year old and 8 year old. The caravan has 2 bunks which the kids loved and a large bed for the grown ups, which was very comfy, the awning is a nice touch for the evenings!

As for pubs, the Horseshoe Hotel does good food at a good price and the portion sizes are enormous, we couldn't finish our main course! We took a stroll to the Postgate Inn but the food was a little pricey and they didn't really cater for kids. We also tried Ye Horseshoe Inn but the food wasn't as good as the Horseshoe Hotel and it was pricey for what it was.

All in all 10/10 for this lovely little caravan, great for families with kiddies but also great for a couple wanting a bit of piece and quiet!

Our time at southside farm was wonderful.
The caravan is modern and clean and has everything you need for your stay.Halina and Neil had made up a welcome hamper which came in very handy for our family until we could find our bearings.The scenery here is beautiful,anyone wishing to get away from it all must come here.The location is perfect for the coast or walking around the yorkshire moors.
We would definately come again,thank you Halina and Neil for our stay.

The caravan is in a great location and beautiful scenery surrounds it. We found the caravan comfortable and peaceful and the owners are very helpfull all in all a great place for a quiet break and well placed for all the amenities in whitby and surrounding area.

Thankyou, we had a fabulous few days. Caravan fully equiped everything you could need, inc bedding & towels, plus lovely welcome hamper.
Set in gorgeous peaceful setting , with fabulous views over the hills & Esk valley, listen for the steam train whistle & run to top of hill outside caravan to view it going along the valley. We found peace tranquility & were able to get away from the stresses of home/work. Would highly recommend, & owners Halina & Neil are lovely people & nothing too much trouble for them. book you will enjoy, we will certainly be back.
