Message APRIL 19, 2010 I AM IN AWE WHEN I READ ABOUT GARRETT AND WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHED YOUNG MAN HE WAS AND SO SADLY HAD HIS YOUNG LIFE CUT SHORT. I WILL DEFINITELY WORK ON RAISING AWARENESS IN MOTORIST. I HAVE RECENTLY BEGUN TO RIDE BICYLE AGAIN;FIRST TIME IN YEARS AND KNOWING GARRETT'S STORY MAKES ME VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN RIDING EVEN IN LOW TRAFFIC AREAS....MY MIRROR IS A MUST. I WILL BE IN CHARLESTON IN 2 WKS. AND PLAN TO VISIT 'WONDERS WAY'. GOD BLESS THIS FAMILY.

Message I rode in the ride yesterday and just wanted to compliment you on a job well done. I came home and visited the website and was in awe as I read Garrett's bio. It is truly heartbreaking to have lost such a wonderful human being. It was an honor to ride yesterday and look forward to participating in future years. It has really opened my eyes to the need for all of us to be safety advocates. Thank you again. Garrett has a wonderful family to preserve his memory.
