I wanna get in on the BILL HALEY'S COMETS issue, for almost 40 years I knew John "Bam Bam" Lane. I knew that Bill trusted as well respected him, or he would had never hired him as his drummer up until his death.
Bill Haley made "Rock and Roll", he was not only a pioneer in this business. He was "Rock & Roll", and no one deserved to take over when Bill suddenly passed away than John Lane. He earned that right, and now an original comet has decided to want the whole piece of pie after John has now passed away!
Robin (Bam Bam's Widow) deserves to be allowed to carry on Bill Haley's wish, to keep the sound as well great talents of what Bam Bam was always so proud of...So back off Al Rappa, and allow Bill Haley's spirit to carry on with Lenny Longo and his group to perform without any problems from you...Please the fans deserve better, than what you're doing to the memory of both Bill Haley as well John "Bam Bam" Lane.
