HI SANDRA, I enjoyed your comments about the June 7th concert, where Michael and Marissa stood far away from the mikes to complete their duet from La Boheme, showing little or no difference in sound or volume. I personally know people who have always questioned his ability to project, but I never doubted it, because Michael has a big voice and has had excellent vocal training & coaching. I hope he does do more full operas, like the 3 he did years ago. I really enjoyed his performance on DVD as Rudolfo in Madame Butterfly.

BTW, a few days ago I finally wrote a review of "DECOMPRESSED" on Amazon.com, as I did in the past for all his other CDs -- but NOT so lengthy a review this time, LOL! Mine is the first and ONLY review of Decompressed there, so it would be great to see more from others! For his other CDs some people just wrote a few lines, and that's fine too.

P.S. I'm surprised nobody could answer my question about the title of the new song Michael sang on NBC a few weeks ago!!

I hope Michael, Don and all the fathers here had a wonderful Father's Day yesterday!! Now regarding this new promo CD "The Music of Michael Amante" - (BTW, excellent idea!) I'm sure all the fans who haven't heard it would like to know more about it, like the track list and whether it can be purchased someday. I especially would like to know if there are any NEW songs on it, that aren't on his previous CDs, and whether they are full songs & arias or just excerpts. JEANETTE, OR ANYONE, please post this info here if possible, or else by email.

Dearest buddy El Presidente, I am soo excited by my surprise present the Complimentary CD “The Music of Michael Amante” plus my 2 tickets to Dec12 at Westbury. I'm just jumping for joy!. The CD has all the songs I love and Amante sounds breathtaking. I could pinch his cheeks as the cover is so handsome. Everything is so artistically done with 16 Songs and Arias. What can I say but thank you, it is such a nice gift for purchasing 2 tickets. Amante, when you sing in Concert your over the top but this CD Complimentary present is definitely Over The Top for me. We just realized that we had not told you how amazing the show at Westchester was on June 7th. During the singing of "O Soave Fanciulla" you and Marissa set your microphones into their stands and you both walked toward the front of the stage and finished the aria without any microphones. There wasn't any difference in the volume or clarity between using and not using the microphones. The Met is ready for you! Happy Fathers Day!
