Sorry I missed your message - but it was too late for this summer anyway.
Yes, the one variety known for least bud-drop is the lavender MARION. Unfortunately Wilf Walker who bred it was unable to transfer this characteristic to any of its offspring.
I have one white seedling that seemed promising in this regard and I'll get you to test it for me if you send me your address.

sorry sidney. i was hoping to send you some seed from my seedling. unfortunetly a bad summer has given me only 30 seed so far.so next year i will not be cutting any blooms for show. but only from "bridget mc aleer"

Sydney, Just been back to have a look at your site. Did you know there's a new version of wp10, with a shopping cart facility and new templates etc?
Haven't seen you post on the wp9 now wp10 forum for some time. Or, I might have missed it?

Very colorful site! I think i'm using the same guestbook on my site.
