Message HEY THESE WERE GREAT SITES.GREAT FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE THE TIME TO DO SOME THING FOR THE JAMES RIVER CAT FISHERMAN BEEN CHECKING IT OUT FOR THREE HOURS NOW LIKE I SAID COME TO RED AND DOTS AND ENJOY THE SCENERY AND CATCH SOME BIG FISH THERE ARE TO DAMS IN BETWEEN YOU HAVE YOUR SCOTTSMILL AND YOPUR HORSE SHOE AND THEN UP THE RIVER YOU HAVE THE RUSEN POWER PLANT DAM THATS WERE THE BIG BOYS ARE I HAD FORGOT TO MENTION THAT EARLIER BUT DONT FORGET YOU ALSO CAN FISH ALL NIGHT THE PARKING IS FREE BUT THE BOAT RAMP FEE IS $4.00 BUT YOU CANT BEAT THAT THE FOOD IS HOT ONLY TILL 7:00PM THE AFTER THAT ITS COOLER PACKING TIME BUT THE PARKING LOT IS LIGHTED AND WE HAVE A UNDER COVER SECURITY GUARD MY UNCLE HAHAHAH THATS A JOKE BUT ALL JOKES ASIDE ITS A GREAT PLACE TO COME AND THE CATFISH ARE BITEN LIKE MOSQUITOS I LIVE WITH IN SIGHT OF THE STORE SO GET IN TOUCH

Message Rick- The end of April to the beginning of May should be some great fishing. My favorite time of year to fish. It would be pre spawn at that time and the blues should be feeding heavily and very active. Towards the end of May until middle or end of July will be very very slow as they will be in the spawn by then.

Message If you are ever interested in fishing with us just shoot me an email at derekbreck@yahoo.com. We are bass fisherman that Catfish from Nov-Feb for big blues. We put in at Route 5 and either head up the chick or James dependent on wind. We fish out of a 19' skiff and throw a cast net in the morning then head out.
