Message Age:56 I have 2 sisters Renee & Denise. Denise did the geneaology study traced to the common ancestor of Pierre de la Croix circa 1649. We branch off at Louis m.Margaret Rivet in 1814. Still in Quebec son Joseph marries a "metis" mixed blood with Indian.1855 mis-spelling to Robarge. A thick accent explains how this happened when they crossed into Mass.USA Renee and I legally changed our Robarge back to Roberge. We are from the Massachusettes line. Born in D.C. raised in Maryland.(Mom & Dad gone) but all 3 kids in California now roughly the San Francisco bay area. Me 3 hours north on the edge of Clear Lake. Message what a great history of roberges just started too do our family tree and loved your set up we our from lowell roberges/robarges and joseph roberge/olivine rousseau in 1826 married 29jul1845 in st cuthbert,berthier,q canada lots of josephs and maries....... most of folks have moved on but am slowly getting my tree proven out jean baptiste owned farm in greenfield ma married m. forest our line looks like stared st cuthbert,qe canada
